Our son peacefully made his way home to Jesus after a 38-day battle with myocarditis and cardiogenic shock caused by enterovirus; he needed a heart transplant. We are devastated with a hole in our hearts that will never be filled, but rejoice he no longer struggles in this world. Noah fought so hard, but his broken heart became greater than his body could bear, and every Warrior deserves rest. We are grateful for every moment during our 38-days on the road with him, hoping beyond hope he would make it to transplant, but Heaven needed him more than us.

We loved you before your Heart began to beat
We loved you before your Heart began to beat
Beyond excited for the day we'd finally meet
Beyond excited for the day we'd finally meet
With your beautiful eyes and crooked sideways smile

Little did we know they would only be here a while

Our Hearts were not ready to ever let you go

But your earthly broken body told us it would be so

We held you tight in our arms and prayed for you to stay

Then you whispered, "God has a plan," and we let you fade away

Noah, we believe you are watching from above

Our Mighty Warrior whom we will always love
